Christmas Time!

 

Here is the Christmas projects that some of my students worked on this season. I only have a few classes create Christmas projects because usually the other grade levels are finishing projects. I got the nativity plate lesson from The Artist Woman.

Here are some finished landscapes. I really feel this year’s third grade class did an outstanding job with their landscapes! I really went into detail about wet wash and dry brush. I really saw them use the brush techniques that they learned and apply it to their painting.

I came across this video on stumbleupon.com had to share. Do think it is real? It sure does look like it. Either way, it inspires me to try some finger painting with my students.
